Mumbai – The leading indices recorded trading with losses in the morning session on Monday. It was then recovering from the lows of the day. Negative global cues raised concerns among investors. The Nifty index traded below 17,350. Metal stocks fell for the second day in a row. The S&P BSE Sensex was down 312.98 points, or 0.53%, at 59,150.95 before noon. The Nifty50 index fell by 117.10 points (0.67%) to settle at 17,348.70. In the overall market, the S&P BSE Small-Cap Index fell by 1.26%. While the S&P BSE Mid-Cap index fell by 1.23%.

Bombay stock market was falling. 873 shares advanced and 2,448 shares declined. Total value of 194 shares remained stable. On February 24, 2023, foreign portfolio investors sold shares worth Rs 1,470.34 crore. While domestic institutional investors bought shares worth Rs 1,400.98 crore.
