New Delhi : Nifty-50 opened down on the first trading day of the week due to a weak global trend, but now it is seeing an increase. In this article, we will go through the top stocks that have seen price volume breakouts. Nifty-50 opened at 17,144.8 today. Major US indices closed on the red mark on Friday. They closed with a fall due to inflation concerns. The Fed may continue to hike interest rates if inflation continues.

The Nasdaq Composite closed on the red mark, down 3.08 per cent on the last trading day of the week. The Dow Jones closed down 1.34 per cent and the S&P-500 was down 2.4 per cent. Asian markets also saw a fall on weak global trend.

In early trade at 11.18 am, Nifty-50 was trading at 17,257 with a gain of 0.41 per cent or 71.3 points. The broader market indices looked weaker than the frontline indices. Nifty Mid Cap 100 Index declined 0.12 per cent and Nifty Small Cap 100 Index jumped 0.23 per cent to trade.

On Monday, Brent crude jumped 0.51 per cent to $92.1 per barrel. At the same time, WTI futures climbed to $ 85.03 per barrel. On the other hand, natural gas futures saw a fall of 2.92 per cent.

As on October 14, FIIs were net sellers and DIIs were net buyers. Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) sold shares worth Rs 1,011.23 crore. At the same time, domestic institutional investors bought shares worth Rs 1,624.13 crore. The stocks which have shown price volume breakout today are:
