IT, BPM companies intend to recruit more in next six months: study
Mumbai, Nov 12 (PTI) While the information technology (IT) and business process management (BPM) sectors saw a slowdown in hiring activity in September due to margin pressures, 51 per cent of the participants expressed their willingness to do new recruits in the next six months.
This possibility has been expressed in a study conducted by CIEL HR. However, 34 per cent of the participants said that there was going to be a decline in recruitment intent. While 15 percent believe that it will remain the same as before.
The study is based on an online survey conducted among 10,00,000 employees working in the top 50 IT/BPM companies operating in India.
It was found in the study that during the Kovid-19 epidemic, IT companies had recruited on a large scale, but after the situation improved, they are now cutting their workforce.
