AGR of telecom companies increased by 18 percent to Rs 60,530 crore in April-June


New Delhi, Nov 23 (PTI) The adjusted gross revenue (AGR) of telecom service providers grew by 17.91 per cent year-on-year to reach Rs 60,530 crore in April-June 2022. This information has been given in a report released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on Wednesday.

As per the report, Jio remained at the forefront in terms of revenue share. The AGR of telecom service providers stood at Rs 51,335 crore in the April-June 2021 quarter.

The government receives its share of revenue from telecom service providers based on their adjusted gross revenue.

Jio’s AGR increased by 20.58 percent to Rs 21,515.88 crore among companies providing services at all-India level. Bharti Airtel’s AGR stood at Rs 17,140.56 crore, a growth of 25.15 per cent year-on-year.

Vodafone Idea’s AGR grew by 17.93 per cent to Rs 7,356.54 crore and BSNL’s grew by 2.6 per cent to Rs 2,177.95 crore.
