Aurobindo Pharma net profit down 41 percent to Rs 409 crore
New Delhi, Nov 12 (PTI) Pharmaceutical company Aurobindo Pharma on Saturday said its consolidated net profit declined by 41 per cent to Rs 409 crore in the second quarter of the current financial year.
The company said its net profit stood at Rs 697 crore in the same quarter last year.
The company’s operating income also declined to Rs 5,739 crore in the July-September 2022 quarter from Rs 5,942 crore in the same quarter last year.
The company’s vice-chairman and managing director K Nityanand Reddy said the company’s performance in the second quarter was subdued due to macro-economic factors and increased competition in the US market.
