New Delhi, Sep 14 (PTI) The total revenue of education technology company ‘Think and Learn’ under the Byju brand has quadrupled to Rs 10,000 crore in the last financial year 2021-22.

During this period, the company’s loss increased to Rs 4,588 crore.

The company had earned a revenue of Rs 2,428 crore in the financial year 2020-21.

Byju’s incurred a loss of Rs 4,588 crore during the period under review. In the financial year 2019-20, it was Rs 231 crore.

The company’s revenue was down one percent to Rs 2,428 crore in the financial year 2020-21. In the previous financial year, it stood at Rs 2,511 crore.

Byju’s said the company is expanding its offline centers to boost business.

The company claims to have over 200 active centers across India. The target is to increase it to 500 centers by the end of this year.

Byju’s plans to hire 10,000 more teachers in the coming year.

Presently the company employs about 50,000 employees.
