Commercial coal mine auction: Vedanta highest bidder for two coal blocks in Odisha
New Delhi, Sep 14 (PTI) On the second day of auction of commercial coal mines, Vedanta Ltd. Has emerged as the largest bidder for two coal mines in Odisha.
The government has put up 10 mines for sale under commercial coal mine auctions on Tuesday and Wednesday.
“Two mines were put up for auction on Wednesday, the second day of e-auction,” the Coal Ministry said in a statement. Both the coal mines are mines under MMDR (Mines and Minerals Development and Regulation).
The block was auctioned in the second attempt of the fourth round of commercial coal mine auction.
