Delhi government’s GST collection increased by 21 percent in the first quarter of the current financial year by 21 percent
New Delhi, Sep 14 (PTI) There has been a significant increase in the GST collection of the Delhi government in the first quarter of the financial year 2022-23 and the total collection in August stood at Rs 4,349 crore. Officials gave this information.
He said that the GST collection in May was Rs 4,113 crore, which increased to Rs 4,313 crore in June and Rs 4,327 crore in July.
According to officials, the GST collection in August rose to Rs 4,349 crore, reflecting an increase in business and consumer demand in the city despite high inflation.
The GST collection in August last year was Rs 3,605 crore, which increased by 21 per cent to Rs 4,349 crore in August this year.
The GST collection was Rs 2,771 crore in May 2021 and Rs 2,656 crore in June 2021. It was Rs 3,815 crore in July 2021.
