France aims to train half a million international students by 2025
New Delhi, Nov 18 (PTI) French Digital and Telecom Minister Jean Noel Barrot said on Friday that France aims to host and train five lakh international students by 2025.
Barot made the remarks during his visit to the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) on Indo-French cooperation.
“France opens its system of higher education and research to the brightest scientists and intellectuals from around the world so that we can reach our goal of hosting and training 500,000 international students by 2025,” Barot said. ,
“According to President Emmanuel Macron, there are already four lakh international students in France, of which the number of Indian students will be around 20,000,” the French minister said.
