himachal pradesh chief minister will promote green vehicles

Shimla, Dec 14 (PTI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu on Wednesday said the state government has decided to switch to green fuel faster.

Presiding over the meeting of senior officers, Sukhu said that amid the increasing movement of vehicles in the state, the government has decided to promote electric vehicles.

He said that maximum number of charging stations would be set up at strategically identified destinations for the convenience of electric vehicle owners. The Chief Minister asked the officials to work expeditiously for the effective implementation of the social welfare scheme.
