Karnataka signs MoU worth Rs 1.3 lakh crore in the field of renewable energy


Bengaluru, Sep 15 (PTI) Karnataka has signed an MoU worth Rs 1.3 lakh crore in the field of renewable energy. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said on Thursday that work in the field of hydrogen fuel would soon start in the state.

The Chief Minister said that the government wants to set up industries in the entire area of ​​Mumbai-Chennai corridor falling in the state. Along with this, renewable energy will be established along the seashore.

Bommai said at the inaugural function of Indian Manufacturing Program-2022 organized by Laghu Udyog Bharati at Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre, “We are doing extensive work in the field of renewable energy, will also start production of hydrogen fuel soon. We have signed MoUs worth Rs 1.3 lakh crore in renewable energy.

He said that we will produce ammonia from the sea (water).
