New Delhi, Sep 14 (PTI) Union Minister G Kishan Reddy on Wednesday said that India is going to come out with a comprehensive National Tourism Policy in the next two months.

The Minister for Cultural Tourism and Development of North Eastern Region said that discussions are on with all stakeholders associated with travel sector organizations, state governments, financial institutions and even foreign tour operators for suggestions on the proposed policy.

“We are discussing and taking feedback,” Reddy said at an event here. I think within two months before the budget session (of Parliament), we are going to present the National Tourism Policy.

The new policy includes a mobile app for e-tourist visa, direct air connectivity with major foreign markets, categorization of tourist destinations, special tourism zones and creation of five missions, etc.
