NPA of women SHG is only 2.1%, can learn financial management from them: Giriraj Singh

New Delhi, Nov 18 (PTI) Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Friday said the NPA of women self-help groups (SHGs) is just 2.1 per cent and businessmen can learn financial management from the women of these villages.

Union Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Singh said this while inaugurating the SARAS Aajeevika Mela at Pragati Maidan here.

He said that the government is taking all necessary steps to provide market and platform to the women self-help groups to sell their products.

Singh said, “After Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power in 2014, the central government has infused confidence and energy in our sisters of women SHGs. The government has linked them to e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart.
