PM Modi has released the 12th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
‘One Nation One Fertilizer’ initiative launched
The Prime Minister has inaugurated 600 PM-Kisan Samridhi Kendras (PM-KSKs) of the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers in this program. At present there are about 2.7 lakh fertilizer retail outlets at village, sub-district, sub-division, taluka and district level in the country. On this occasion, the Prime Minister has also launched the biggest initiative called One Nation One Fertilizer (ONOF) in the fertilizer sector. The Government of India is making it mandatory for fertilizer companies to market their products under the brand name “Bharat”. This will enable standardization of fertilizer brands across the country.
More than 1 crore farmers are participating virtually
More than 13,500 farmers and 1500 agristartups from across the country have come together in the event being held in Delhi. More than 1 crore farmers are participating in this program virtually. Apart from Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Ministers Mansukh Mandaviya, Kailash Choudhary, Shobha Karandlje and Bhagwant Khuba besides many senior officials are participating in this program.
Get Rs 6,000 every year
PM Kisan Yojana was started by the Prime Minister in the year 2019. Under this scheme, eligible farmer families are given Rs 6000 per year in three equal installments of Rs 2000 each in four months. So far, an amount of more than Rs 2 lakh 16 thousand crore has been released in 12 installments to eligible farmer families under PM-KISAN. Out of this, 1.6 lakh crore rupees have been transferred during the Kovid epidemic.
