Twitter employees quit after Elon Musk’s ultimatum
On Wednesday, Musk sent an email to Twitter employees asking them to work hard or resign. Many employees rejected his ultimatum and thought it better to leave the company. As soon as the deadline for this ultimatum expired on Thursday, many employees started posting salute emoji on Twitter. Many executives who have left the company say that a large number of staff have left Twitter. It is believed that there is no one to handle Twitter now. This is the reason why #RIPTwitter is trending top on social media.
Musk in action
Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, completed a $44 billion deal to buy Twitter late last month. While taking charge of the company, he was the first to oust several top executives including Indian-origin CEO Parag Agarwal. After this, he dissolved the board and took the command completely in his hands. Recently half of Twitter’s employees were laid off. In India, the company had fired 90 percent of its employees. Now the employees working on contract have also started being fired from the company.
