Since then, the market cap of the group has fallen by 60 per cent and it has come down from Rs 11.62 lakh crore to Rs 7.58 lakh crore. According to Forbes’ real-time billionaire list, the net worth of group chairman Gautam Adani declined by $ 6.2 billion, or 12.48 percent, on Wednesday. Now his net worth is reduced to $ 43.4 billion and he is at 26th place in the list of the world’s rich. He has lost about $75 billion so far this year. Before the report of Hindenburg Research, he was at number three in the list of the world’s rich.

On Wednesday, the shares of Adani Enterprises, the flagship company of the group, fell the most by 10.43 per cent. It closed at Rs 1404.85, down Rs 163.55 on BSE. Its 52-week high was Rs 4,189.55. It reached this level on December 21 last year. Similarly, five stocks of the group touched the lower circuit. These include Adani Transmission, Adani Total Gas, Adani Wilmar, Adani Green and Adani Power.

Which has the biggest decline

Adani Green Energy scrip closed at Rs 539.30, down Rs 28.35. This is its 52-week low. Shares of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) closed at Rs 546.85, down 6.25 per cent, or Rs 36.45. Its 52-week high is Rs 987.90. Adani Power’s stock was touching upper circuit for the last few days. But today it fell by Rs 8.55 to Rs 162.60. Adani Transmission declined by Rs 41.50 and closed at Rs 788.75.

Adani Total Gas shares have fallen the most since January 24. It was at the top of 52 weeks on January 23, but it has been continuously touching the lower circuit for the past several days. On Wednesday once again it fell by five per cent ie Rs 43.90 to Rs 834.95. It has declined by about 80 per cent since January 24. Shares of Adani Wilmar declined by Rs 20.50 to Rs 390.35. Adani Group’s cement company Ambuja Cements declined by 4.92 per cent i.e. Rs 17.35. It closed at Rs 335.55. ACC declined by 4.13 per cent. It closed at Rs 1752.35, down Rs 75.50. NDTV shares closed at Rs 201.90, down 4.18 per cent, or Rs 8.80.
