Mumbai: Nifty 50 opened with a fall amid weak global cues. In this article, we have compiled a list of stocks that are going through a price volume breakout period despite a poor start to the market. The four-day rally in the US stock markets was halted on Tuesday. Inflation figures for August are out. During this period, inflation in America has increased faster than expected. Due to this, there was a huge fall in the US stock market on Tuesday and it ended the four-day rally in one stroke.

It is clear from the inflation data that the US Federal Reserve may increase interest rates drastically in the coming days. The Nasdaq Composite fell 5.16 per cent, the Dow Jones fell 3.94 per cent and the S&P 500 (S&P 500) lost 4.3 per cent. This is the biggest one-day fall in the US stock market since June 2020. At the time of writing this article, Nifty 50 was trading at 17,926.8, down 143.25 points or 0.79 per cent. The broader markets have outperformed the frontline index. Nifty Mid-cap 100 index is trading with a decline of 0.6 per cent and Nifty Small-cap 100 index is down 0.37 per cent.

As per provisional data, FIIs were net buyers while DIIs were net sellers as on September 13. Foreign Institutional Investors (DIIs) bought shares worth Rs 1,956.98 crore. Similarly, domestic institutional investors sold shares worth Rs 1,268.43 crore. Here is a list of stocks that are undergoing price volume breakout.
