icici bank share price, trading in the index cautious at the beginning of the week, these penny stocks are locked in the upper circuit today

ICICI Bank was the top gainer in the Sensex. It rose 2% even in a subdued market on positive quarterly results. The bank reported a 30% increase in profit after tax to Rs 9,122 crore.

1,714 shares advanced and 1,301 shares declined in the Mumbai Stock Exchange. Advance-decline ratio remained in favor of advance. Broader indices outperformed major indices. Shares of HLE Glascote continued to gain in BSE Smallcap. It grew by more than 9% with a massive increase. Shares of NGL Fine-Chem Ltd and Nahar Industrial Enterprises Ltd were also heavily bought.
