Keep an eye on these penny stocks to make big profits in the upper circuit


New Delhi : Benchmark indices started the day with gains on the back of strength from global markets. BSE Sensex climbed over 400 points and Nifty 50 crossed 17,700 mark. The advance-decline ratio was in favor of advances on the BSE with 2,234 shares rising and 1,044 shares falling. All sectoral indices were trading with gains except BSE Metal and BSE Realty. BSE Banks was the biggest gainer sector. In this, Bank of Baroda was ahead with a gain of more than 2%. Both the auto and telecom sectors gained over 1%.

At 11:20 am, the BSE Sensex climbed 0.66% to reach the level of 59,420. The Nifty-50 index rose 0.58% to reach the level of 17,725. Mahindra & Mahindra, ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel were the top gainers on the Sensex. Whereas, Tata Steel, Sun Pharmaceuticals and Nestle India saw the biggest decline.

Shares of Shree Cement among the top Nifty 50 index stocks climbed over 5% today after rising over 8% yesterday. Schneider Electric Infrastructure was the top share of the BSE Smallcap pack with a gain of over 13%. Both Future Consumer and Sonata Software saw heavy buying.
