Many stocks touched the upper circuit in early trade on Wednesday


Mumbai: Domestic stock markets opened up today but then started trading flat amid mixed sentiment among investors in Asian markets. On the BSE, 1,856 shares gained while 1,452 shares declined. The advance-decline ratio is strongly favored by advances. Morning
At 11:20, the BSE Sensex fell 0.05% to 61,154 points. The Nifty 50 index was down 0.06% at 18,190 points. IndusInd Bank, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories and HCL Technologies were the top gainers in Sensex stocks while Power Grid Corporation of India, Tech Mahindra And NTPC Ltd shares declined.

The biggest gain was in BSE Realty. In this, the biggest gain was seen in Macrotech Developers and Prestige Estates Projects. On the other hand, BSE Metals was the biggest loser. Hindalco Industries declined more than four per cent. Broader indices edged higher despite a fall in major indices. In the BSE Midcap, PI Industries rose the most by 10 per cent and reached the top of 52 weeks. Meanwhile, heavy buying is seen in the shares of Adani Power, Tata Power, BSS International Services, Honda India Power Products and Union Bank of India.
