There has also been a sell-off in heavyweight stocks. 19 stocks of Sensex 30 have closed in the red mark. Today’s top losers include NTPC, POWERGRID, BAJAJFINSV, KOTAKBANK, TCS, BAJFINANCE, DRREDDY.

The Sensex opened at 58,711 with a loss of 826 points in the morning and started trading. Similarly, Nifty also started trading openly at 17,486 with a loss of 273 points. Under the pressure of the global market, investors sold fiercely today and the decline dominated the market from the beginning. At 9.35 am, the Sensex was trading at 58,734 with a loss of 800 points, while the Nifty was down 200 points and stood at 17,550.

With a sharp increase, the shares of these companies came in the list of top gainers. In today’s trading Nifty smallcap and midcap are also seeing a big decline of 0.50 percent.
