Penny stocks in the upper circuit, Upper Circuit Today: Cautious start for major indices, these penny stocks are locked in the upper circuit today

The BSE Energy and BSE Commodities Index contributed to offset the losses in the Information Technology sector with gains of over 1%. Telecom and auto stocks also registered significant gains. 1,827 shares advanced and 1,206 shares declined in the Mumbai Stock Exchange. Advance-decline ratio remained in favor of advance.

The BSE Smallcap index outperformed the major indices by a wide margin. Shares of Precision Camshafts Limited were the gainers in BSE Smallcap. Shares of the company rose more than 11% amid relatively flat capital markets. Mangalam Industrial Finance and Centum Electronics Ltd were also heavily bought.
