New Delhi: The US stock market had closed with a decline in the previous trading session and today its effect was seen on the Asian markets as well. The Indian stock market opened flat on the first trading day of the week amid mixed sentiment among investors. But due to the decline in tech stocks, they saw a huge decline. Most of the sectors are trading with a fall. The BSE IT (BSE Information Technology) index declined the most by 1.5%. Utilities, power and oil and gas stocks also declined heavily. But in the midst of the fall (BSE Capital Goods), BSE Capital Goods has increasingly attracted the attention of investors. At 11.15 am, the BSE Sensex fell 0.38% to 60,450 points. The Nifty 50 index also declined by 0.35% to the level of 17,793.

Titan, Larsen & Toubro and Power Grid Corporation of India were the top gainers in Sensex stocks while State Bank of India, Infosys (Infosys) and Mahindra & Mahindra (Mahindra & Mahindra) shares declined. Broader Indices underperformed the Main Indices. 1,318 scrips advanced while 1,982 scrips declined on the BSE. That is, the advance-decline ratio is in favor of decline. Dishman Carbogen Amcis was the top gainer in BSE Smallcap, gaining over 16%. Along with this, its volume also increased tenfold. Heavy buying was also seen in shares of Ingersoll-Rand (India) and Sintex Plastics Technology. Here is a list of penny stocks that touched the upper circuit today.
