New Delhi: After increasing the repo rate for six consecutive times, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has decided not to increase it this time. RBI has kept the repo rate unchanged at 6.50 per cent. After this decision of RBI, the market gained momentum. The Asian market is trading with a fall. Today’s session started with a red mark due to the fall in the global market. At the same time, the Indian benchmark has been successful in registering a boom. The impact of the boom in financial services and banking stocks has been seen on the stock market. BSE Realty saw a jump of 2% and BSE Realty has become the best performing sector today. The stock of Godrej Properties Limited saw a boom. On the other hand, shares of Overoy Realty and Indiabulls Real Estate saw a rise. While power and utility stocks remain moderate. BSE Metals, BSE FMCG have been the biggest market draggers today.

At 11:15 am, the BSE Sensex jumped 0.39% and reached 59,924 points. The Nifty 50 index jumped 0.26% to reach the 17,602 level. Bajaj Finance, IndusInd Bank and State Bank of India have become top draggers on Sensex. HCL Technology, Tech Mahindra and Nestle India were the market draggers. Broader indices outperformed the core indices. Shares of Dev Plastic Industries Ltd, top smallcap gainer on BSE, rallied over 16% and kept the small-cap bulls busy. Shares of Rama Phosphates and Nandan Denim Ltd were also heavily bought.
Today these penny stocks are on upper circuit. These investors should keep an eye on these stocks in the coming days.
