New Delhi:Today, mixed attitude of investors is being seen in Asian markets. Domestic benchmark indices opened higher but could not sustain for long. BSE Healthcare was the biggest loser but banking and financial services sectors kept the indices higher. At 10:15 am, the BSE Sensex was trading at 59,688 points with a gain of 0.06%. The Nifty 50 index also gained 0.07% to 17,636 points. ICICI Bank, Titan Company and State Bank of India were the top gainers on the Sensex, while Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Mahindra & Mahindra and ITC Limited were the biggest losers. ICICI Bank was the biggest gainer in the Sensex. On the basis of excellent quarterly results, it saw a gain of about two percent. The bank’s profit in the March quarter stood at Rs 9,122 crore with a growth of 30 per cent. On the BSE, 1,714 stocks are trading with gains and 1,301 with losses. That is, the advance-decline ratio is in favor of advances. The performance of Broader Indices is better than Main Indices. HLE Glascoat Ltd was the top gainer in BSE Smallcap. It has grown by more than nine per cent along with an increase in volumes. Heavy buying is also being seen in the shares of NGL Fine-Chem Ltd and Nahar Industrial Enterprises Ltd. Here is the list of penny stocks that touched the upper circuit today. These stocks can be monitored in the coming days.
