Mumbai: The stock market is seeing a decline today. The Nifty 50 opened at a level of 17,755.35 as against its previous close of 17,826.7 on Wednesday. This was a result of weak global signals. Major Wall Street indices closed lower on Tuesday amid growing concerns that the Federal Reserve would keep interest rates high for an extended period of time. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite fell 2.5%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average 2.06% and the S&P 500 2% in overnight trading. However, futures indices were seen trading in the green. Asian market indices were mostly seen trading in the red on Wall Street.
At 10:00 am, the Nifty 50 was trading at 17,679.8, down 146.9 or 0.82%. On the other hand, the broad market indices underperformed the frontline indices. The Nifty Mid-Cap 100 index and the Nifty Small-Cap 100 index fell 0.76% and 0.8%, respectively. Given below is the list of stocks which saw price volume breakout today.
