New Delhi : On the last trading day of the week, Nifty-50 opened with gains in line with the trend of Asian indices and US indices. In this article, we will take a look at the top stocks with price volume breakout. Nifty-50 opened at 17,923.35 on Friday following cues from Asian markets and a positive session on Wall Street. Major Wall Street indices closed higher on Thursday. The rally comes after market participants assessed Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell’s comments.

He had said that the Federal Reserve is committed to rein in inflation. However, after this comment, there was a sharp fall in the indices. But then the recovery came and the markets closed with good gains.

At the time of writing the news, Nifty was trading at 17,871.05 with a gain of 72.3 points (0.41%). The broader markets are performing mixed against the frontline indices. The Nifty Mid-cap 100 index jumped 0.59% and the Nifty Small-cap 100 index jumped 0.42%.

As per preliminary data, as on September 8, 2022, FIIs were net buyers and DIIs were net sellers. Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) bought shares worth Rs 2,913.09 crore. At the same time, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought shares worth Rs 212.61 crore. Following is a list of stocks showing price volume breakout.
