Mumbai – In the first trading session of the new week, the Nifty50 was trading lower in the morning. This analysis lists some of the leading stocks that have recorded price volume breakouts.

The Nifty50 of the national stock market was steady at 17,421.90 on Monday compared to 17,412.90 on Friday. Major indexes on Wall Street fell on Friday on economic worries. The employment report for February recorded negative figures.

On Friday, the Nasdaq Composite fell 1.76%, the Dow Jones 1.07% and the S&P 500 fell 1.45%. Related futures were trading higher in the morning session on Monday. Asian market indices were also trading following the same. All but Japan’s Nikkei 225 index were trading higher.

The Nifty50 index was trading at 17,450.70, up 37.8 points or 0.22% at 9:55 am on Monday. While the broad market indices underperformed the leading indices. Nifty Mid-Cap 100 Index and Nifty Small-Cap 100 Index fell by 0.77% and 0.92% respectively.
