MUMBAI – The Nifty50 of the national stock market opened on Wednesday on a bullish note on positive global cues. This analysis discusses some of the leading stocks that recorded price volume breakouts.

The Nifty50 opened at 17,177.45 on Wednesday, compared to its previous close of 17,107.50. This was the result of positive global signals. Major Wall Street indexes rose on Tuesday as shares of regional banks, including First Republic Bank, rallied. However, there is uncertainty among investors regarding the US Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision. Interest rate hikes attempt to balance economic growth against rising inflation.

US Nasdaq index rose by 1.58% and Dow Jones by 0.98%. While the S&P 500 added 1.3%. Major Asian market indices were trading higher on Wednesday, tracking indices on Wall Street. Japan’s Nikkei 225 index and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index were leading in it.

The Nifty50 index was trading at 17,142.30, up 34.8 points, or 0.2%, at 10:25 am on Wednesday. While the broad market indices outperformed the leading indices. Nifty Mid-Cap 100 Index and Nifty Small-Cap 100 Index rose by 0.45% and 0.70% respectively.
