The Nifty50 was trading up 0.40 points (0.0023%) at 16,983.95 at 11:13 AM on Wednesday. Broader market indices underperformed the leading indices. The Nifty Mid Cap 100 index was down 0.61%. While the Nifty Small Cap Index fell by 0.43%.

According to October 11 data, foreign investors were net sellers. Local investors became net buyers. Foreign institutional investors sold shares worth Rs 4,612.67 crore. Domestic institutional investors bought shares worth Rs 2,430.76 crore.
