How did the market begin?
BSE’s 30-share index Sensex opened at 60,706.81 points while NSE’s 50-share Nifty opened at 17,847.55 points in the morning session on the last trading day of the week. Sensex and Nifty are trading with bearish red sign in early trade. Out of the 30 Sensex stocks, only 10 stocks are initially bullish while 20 stocks are trading lower. Besides, out of 50 Nifty stocks, only 15 are showing bullish green and 35 stocks are trading with red signal.
Status of Sectoral Indicators
In the opening session of the day, all other sectoral indices except media and PSU banks are trading lower. PSU banks are trading up over 1 percent while media shares are trading up 0.23 percent. Metal stocks fell 1.13 percent, while IT stocks were seen shedding 1.08 percent. Within hours, pharma shares were trading down 0.72 percent, oil and gas down 0.72 percent.

Sensex’s L&T, SBI, PowerGrid, Bajaj Finance, Ultratech Cement, Bajaj Finserv, Mahindra & Mahindra and Maruti are trading in the green during the morning trading session of the market.

Adani Group shares continue to dominate the market today. Adani Enterprises fell 10 percent while shares of Adani Power, Adani Transmission, Adani Total Gas and Adani Wilmar fell 5 percent each. Besides, Adani Enterprises shares closed lower circuit by 10 percent.
