Broader indices rose in line with key indices. Shares of Renaissance Global Limited were the top performers in BSE Smallcap. Its transaction volume increased by more than 14%. Shares of Shilpa Medicare Limited and Genus Power Infrastructures Limited were also bought in large numbers by investors.

The BSE Sensex rose 0.74% to 64,386 at 11 am on Friday. While the Nifty50 index rose by 0.67% to 19,099. Mahindra & Mahindra, Infosys and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries were the top gainers in the Sensex. While ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and ITC Limited were down.
