These penny stocks closed in the upper circuit today


MumbaiThe opening of HDFC and HDFC Bank and strong global cues filled the Indian stock markets with enthusiasm. Today is the fourth consecutive day while the stock market indices have risen. Looking at today’s Advance Decline Ratio on BSE, 1,980 shares saw an increase and 1,180 shares declined.

On Wednesday, except BSE IT, BSE Tech and BSE Healthcare, all sectors were trading with gains. BSE Energy was the top performing sector, with gains of over 5% from Deep Industries and Aegis Logistics. Oil and gas, financial services and auto companies all saw significant growth.

Today at 11:00 am, the BSE Sensex rose by 0.60% to reach the level of 59,313. The Nifty 50 index rose 0.53% to 17,580 levels. On the Sensex, Reliance Industries, HDFC and Axis Bank were top gainers, while State Bank of India, Infosys and Sun Pharmaceuticals were top losers.

Shares of Tech Solutions gained nearly 8%, making them top of the BSE smallcap pack. DC Infotech & Communication, LKP Finance and K&R Rail Engineering were among the top gainers on the BSE to close their 20% upper circuit.
