The BSE Commodity Index gained, led by Everest Industries Ltd and Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Ltd on the sectoral front. BSE oil and gas fell for the second day in a row. Among them, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, Hindustan Petroleum dragged down the major sectoral indices. Corporation Limited and Indraprastha Gas Limited fell sharply.

The BSE Sensex was trading at 61,295 with a marginal gain of 0.24% at 10:05 am on Tuesday. While the Nifty50 was trading at 18,201, up nearly 0.25%. Broad indices correspond to indices. Easy Trip Planners Ltd and IFB Industries Ltd were top gainers in BSE Smallcap. In contrast, Rainbow Children’s Medicare Limited and Gayarthi Projects Limited were down.
