Broad indices outperformed major indices by a wide margin. Shares of Deep Polymers Limited were the gainers in BSE Smallcap. Even in an overall weak market, their value settled on the upper circuit with 20%. Shares of Precision Camshaft Limited and Urgo Capital Limited were also heavily bought by investors.
The BSE Sensex fell 0.12% to 59,837 at 10:55 am on Tuesday. While the Nifty50 index fell by 0.13% to 17,685. In the Sensex, IndusInd Bank, HCL Technologies and Nestle India were leading. Reliance Industries, Power Grid Corporation of India and Titan declined.
Despite the big index rout at the start of the week, markets remained somewhat bearish overall on Tuesday. A few penny stocks hit the upper circuit in the morning session. Their list is as follows. Investors should keep an eye on these stocks for the coming sessions –
