1,681 shares advanced and 1,518 shares declined in the Mumbai Stock Exchange. The advance-decline ratio remained in favor of advance. Shares of Greer & Weill (India) Ltd., a BSE smallcap addition, jumped more than 9%. The company’s share price hit a fresh 52-week high. Shares of Graphite India and IFGL Refractories were also bought heavily by investors.
