Mumbai – BSE Sensex was trading in bullish color at 11:28 am on Thursday. It was up 79 points to 62,494. Gains in crude oil prices and select banking stocks offset losses in information technology and FMCG stocks amid the Gujarat assembly election results. In the broader midcap market, BSE Midcap rose 0.14% to settle at 26138. Value additions include Axis Ban, Eicher Motors, Larsen, IndusInd Bank and Mahindra & Mahindra. Sun Pharma, Kotak Mahindra, HDFC Life, SBI Life Insurance and TCS were the decliners.

Nifty50 index is trading up by 0.14% at 18585. Bank Nifty is trading at 43448 with a gain of 350 points. The advance-decline ratio favored the advance. 1830 stocks rose and 1351 stocks fell in the Mumbai Stock Exchange. While 168 shares remained stable.
